Joining
Nothing. Joining and flying with vMNA is free.
You’ll need a flight simulator supported by a vAMSYS ACARS client and a vAMSYS account. Register with vMNA, then follow the setup instructions in vAMSYS. You can also join our Discord if you’d like help getting started.
Application reviews are handled by the vMNA team, so timing can vary. Check your vAMSYS account for updates; if you’re waiting on a decision, please ask us on Discord.
Flying
Use the simulator you prefer. Flights are logged through vAMSYS, so check the vAMSYS client's supported simulators for compatibility.
No. There are no monthly quota commitments. Fly at your own pace.
Start a flight using a vAMSYS-supported ACARS client and follow its prompts to track the flight. After landing, submit the PIREP through vAMSYS. Only accepted PIREPs are included in the website’s flight statistics and leaderboard.
Yes. Run a vAMSYS-supported ACARS client during your flight so vAMSYS can track it and you can submit a PIREP. Check vAMSYS for the currently supported clients and setup instructions.
Yes. You can fly on online networks, provided you follow that network’s rules as well as vMNA procedures. Use your vAMSYS-supported ACARS client to track and report the flight.
It shows recorded vAMSYS position reports as the completed flight path. A separate dashed line shows the planned route still ahead; the actual track appears as position reports become available.
Your vAMSYS account is the place to check your pilot status and any current rank or award requirements. For vMNA-specific questions, ask the team on Discord.
Fleet & Routes

Community
Join our Discord. Staff and other pilots are happy to help with setup, routes and PIREPs.
The leaderboard uses accepted PIREPs and lets you sort pilots by different flight metrics. Punctual and delayed counts are based on recorded on-blocks time compared with the booking’s scheduled arrival; a landing more than 15 minutes late counts as delayed. The page displays up to the top 10 pilots for the selected metric.
Check the Events page for current vAMSYS focus airports and announcements, and join our Discord for community flight updates.
